I don’t claim to be an expert about whatever, I’m just a passionate about computer science, wanting to share my experiments. This blog is mainly here to share my knowledge.
Formation
I’m learning about softwares at the Oxford Brookes university (courses start as of September 2010), after passing a BTS IRIS (french degree, about computer dev. and networks.) and studying two years at SUPINFO.
Technology
As I was living in Toulouse, I worked two days-by-week at Makina Corpus. I’ve done some python, and learned the django framework there, while working on bisonvert, a carpooling website.
Here are some projects I’m involved in. For more details, you can refer to my bitbucket and github profiles.
- I’ve used a bit the PHP5 framework Jelix for summer work.
- I was working on a homemade framework (spiral), on which I have learned a bit about software architecture and design patterns. it’s wrote in PHP5.3
- I also have a formal experience, and a not-so-bad-level on PHP, the Zend Framework and Symfony, but, you know, python just rocks !
- I’m doing a GSOC about python and software packaging, in a project named distutils2
Interests
I’m also involved in some computer-unrelated-projects:
- I’m a part of an naturalist association Veracruz, which has the goal to sensibilize students to environmental concerns (among others)
- I take care about the informatic related things for the GRAPPE network, which coordinates the « Environment’s week» , in France.
- I’m the co-founder of a CSA association (AMAP en français), for students : Zest.
